Payment of WABER 2012 registration fee in Nigeria

A number of people have contacted me to explain they are having difficulty with trying to pay into the WABER Conference account in Ghana.

To help overcome this, we have arranged with one of our committee members who has a Pound (£) Domiciliary account with Guaranty Trust Bank in Nigeria. This is helpful because all delegates in Nigeria can now pay your WABER 2012 Conference registration fee into the account and then email me to let me know you have paid so we can acknowledge the payment and give you a receipt.

 The account details is as follows;

ACCOUNT NAME: AFOLABI A. DANIA

BANK: GUARANTY TRUST BANK, NIGERIA

ACCOUNT NUMBER: 0047946816

Many thanks and best wishes

Sam

Keynotes

The keynotes for WABER 2012 have been designed around the academic disciplines of built environment schools in West Africa. This is meant to help develop the disciplines in the region and give maximum benefit to academics, researchers and practitioners.  Keynote topics will cover new developments and future directions in theory and practice of the following subject disciplines: Architecture; Building Construction; Civil Engineering; Estate Management; Quantity Surveying; Urban and Regional Planning.  The Conference will consist of workshop-style presentations designed for PhD students and early career-scholars and parallel session presentations.

PhD Workshop

The doctoral workshop is designed to help PhD students to get constructive feedback on their work from a panel of experienced international academics.

Research Skills Workshop

The Research Skills Workshop facilitated by Dr Chris Harty of the School of Construction Management and Engineering, University of Reading, UK has become a conference favourite for many delegates. This workshop is always a stimulating session where delegates discuss practical issues relating to their research work.
